9:30 Kilgore Trout
Shades of pop, earth tones of punk, a rock hard backbone and lyrics you can sing along with. Mix it all up and it smells like Kilgore Trout. "We are making music that is intelligent, accessible and unpretentious. Yeah we like to entertain ourselves ... but making people jump up and down is really the goal of it all, isn't it?" (J. Gray singer) Compared to Sugar, Jimmy Eat World and The Lemonheads. Kilgore Trout takes the edge of village punk and smashes it into an emo-pop polished mold.

10:15 Crusade
Crusade fittingly debut on Halloween 1999 in NYC, introducing a sound which is an intoxicating blend of brilliant melodies infused with pulsing rhythmic mastery. After circulating around a very diverse crowd of punk, new wave and hardcore scenes, Crusade have released their debut record "The Beauty Within The Decay" on Trace
Records. The release has proven the bands ability to incorporate various styles of music old and new in a manner that is unmistakably theirs. Utilizing punk rock backbeats to electro-pop sensibility, The Beauty Within The Decay is about a struggle to accept life's failures and pitfalls set to a deteriorating yet sweet soundscape.
Crusade's performances teeter on the brink between calculated coolness and mayhem.

11:00 Amelia Earhart Found Alive!
Amelia Earhart Found Alive are angular post-punkers who take a slightly different approach to the genre's usual angular assault with their own trademark dissonance and abundant nervous energy. Noisy guitar stabs couple with jaggedly precise bass lines all intertwine in stark contrast with their jittery and caffinated drumming. All of this is topped off by the emergence of distinctive, hair-raising vocals through the vast onslaught of guitar, bass, and drums. The results are not unlike bands in the same vein as middle-era Sonic Youth and Unwound.

Thanks to our sponsor Original Sin Hard Cider!
You're supposed to drink cider this time of year.... Thanks to our sponsor Original Sin Hard Cider (and the fine folks at PLAID) for providing a delicious beverage for a measly $3! And hard cider is a little more potent than your typical swill, so you'll need less to stay warm...
