Come join star Emily Grace, Director A. Dean Bell, and the cast and crew of "What Alice Found" as we celebrate the Premiere of Sundance and Tribeca Film Festival Honoree "What Alice Found"..... (It's great! I saw it at Sundance....) THE FILM OPENS DECEMBER 5TH AT THE QUAD ON 13TH (betw. 5th and 6th)...

In WHAT ALICE FOUND, an ugly life at home and work sends young Alice (Grace) south to a friend, but her car breaks down on the highway. Two Samaritans appear out of nowhere, cheerfully offering to take Alice to Florida. Sandra and Bill (Ivey and Bill Raymond) are apparently on permanent vacation in their cushy RV. The flinty ex-marine Bill does all the driving and the wisecracking while earthy Sandra does the lioness' share of the talking. Before long, Alice discovers how Sandra and Bill earn a living. Is it by design or by her choice that Alice enters their world?

Complimentary Admission on the UNDERBELLY list from 10-11 and reduced admission 'til 1 am ($10)... Or get in free with your ticket stub if you see the movie that night!

Open Bar from 10-11, and specials on Original Sin Hard Cider 'til late... Special giveaways too!

Featuring live music from:

11:15 Hidden Driveways

and the rock stylings of DJ Mako

Performances by:
9:30 In Spite Of - Record release party! Freebies to the first lucky
50...
10:15 Cracktorch smokes..
11:00 INSOFAR burns...
11:45 Strangeway crackles...

and DJ Mako spins an electrifying glue of rock to hold it
together... Hot girls, Cool dudes, free drinks, no attitude. Who
loves you? We do...

9:30 pm - in.spite.of (CD release!)

"in.spite.of is a band with a familiar -- yet uniquely identifiable
-- sound that separates them from the sea of young new talent.
Fronted by two singers, in.spite.of is a vocally driven band ... a
true diamond in the rough. They have shared the stage with the
likes of Incubus, System of a Down, Godsmack, Injected, and 2
Skinnee J's, to name a few." - Radio Wazee
http://underbelly.c.tep1.com/maabDvUaa1XtSaaaaaab/

10:15 - Cracktorch (from Boston)

Boston's Cracktorch "exult in fearsome, down-tuned metalcraft that
recalls both Motorhead and Sabbath while actually being worthy of
such lofty comparisons. In terms of stoner rock with classic edge,
... Monstrous is the word, an epithet that seems even more fitting
when you realise this is an independent release from a band that’s
never recorded before." - the Weekly Dig. 'Nuff said.

11 pm - Insofar (from LA)

These are my boys. Insofar makes it fun again, and attendance is
mandatory. If Blink-182 and the Strokes had a love child, Insofar
would beat him up for his lunch money. Insofar plays SoCal-style
punk, but retains a smarter edge from their New York influences.
Plan to wake up hungover with songs like "Stripper Girl", "Worst
Case Scenario", and "Shut up" still in your head.

11:45 - Strangeway (from Pittsburgh)
Pittsburgh-based Strangeway hit the stage with some aggressive
modern rock, continuing their regular visits to New York. Lead
singer Walter will march you through the melodic, heavy rock
stylings of Strangeway. "I try to write about the stuff that goes on
in life -- you know, that tells a story or connects with a feeling,"
he says.
