freshness, organically grown, and delivered to you.

All you have to do is:
Invite your friends
Dress like a rock star
Drink too much.

The Rock: the Star Band (8:30 pm)
After making a few changes and working out some new material the
Star Band are back from Brooklyn to hit the Slipper Room stage
again. Always fun and intelligent, the band's essential enjoyment
of playing music comes through as they run through and assortment of
indie rock styles and songs in their set.

The Rock: Ruthruth (9:30 pm)
The ups and downs of the music industry have taken these local boys
on a long strange trip, but they haven't left their talent behind.
Coming off of a few dates with Everclear, these New Yorkers will
grace the stage and demo some terrific new material from their
upcoming album, along with some old favorites. (Hope for
"Uninvited" - we've played it when DJing a lot...) They even have a
song called "Jerome"..... With a track record that includes every
good club in the city, videos on MTV, tours with the best of them,
and years of good music under the belts, we only hope the room is
big enough to hold their energy.... Check out the website for some
MP3's and ask for your faves...

The Rock: Bat Eats Plastic (10:30 pm)
One of the hardest working bands in New York, the Bat Eats Plastic
crew packs a lot of talent into the band and their side projects.
With Millie in front and Hank on the skins, there's plenty of energy
on stage. Check out the songs at MP3.com or just come and listen
hard.
