The Rock: Chillum (10 pm)
Chillum has played the Slipper Room a few times, but this will be the last show before they take a few months off, so make a point of heading down to hear the full band! They'll play their favorites (including, as always, "Lost Dog") and spend just a little extra time on the jam... As always, expect the boys to have a lot of fun with it, and spend a lot of energy to work off the traditional pre-show Turkish food...
The Rock: Townhall (11 pm)
We're excited to welcome Townhall to the stage at the Slipper Room - let's just hope they have enough room. With the rumor going around that they will perform barefoot - brave enough in New York City - the real question is who will play what. The musical chairs these guys play with various intstruments both shows off their talent and creates an energetic frenzy. As one of their hometown Philly reviewers says.... "the fascination of Townhall lies not in bare feet. They're like watching a circus--there's so much going on at the same time it's hard to focus on just one member. There's enough metal instruments to outfit a marching band, enough percussion to furnish a parade of Hare Krishnas, more guitars than Santana has in his legendary collection." And we'll let them play and play...
