NEXT SHOW: Tomorrow! March 28th! ELECTRO featuring Galvanized...

Hidden Driveways (9 pm)
With a slightly off center alternative repertoire and great songwriting, we've had these guys back again and again. Hidden Driveways has a slacker anthem buried in their alt-rock repertoire - "Administrative Assistant" speaks to everyone who's been abused (or is currently being abused) by the system.

Aerial Love Feed (10 pm)
These guys play electro-punk fresh out of Brooklyn, with dance beats, post-punk smarts, and charisma. They have a lush brand of guitar rock that's atmospheric without being set up on sleepy shoegazer trips. With some recent tweaking they're sounding better than ever... Don't miss it.

NEXT SHOW: March 27th! Featuring Aerial Love Feed

The Rock: Bat EAts Plastic (9 pm)
Bat EAts Plastic has an arty take on indie rock that shows why they draw such enthusiastic crowds. Instead of taking the predictable course for many of their songs, they switch it up. (It's easier heard than said - so sue me.) Yeah, I don't get the name either, but you're smarter than me.

The Rock: Tear Us Apart (10 pm)
Tear Us Apart plan to tear it up for their Record Release party! Despite an onslaught of guitars and drums, you won't lose the music. Tear Us Apart could be called melodic hardcore, but they're more polished than that. They managed to debut at Brownies before its demise, and with this new record are getting active once again.... Copies of the new album will be available for purchase or barter....

The Rock: All Parallels (11 pm)
Boston's All Parallels flee the Big Dig to join us here in the Big Apple. This post-punk trio got together a few years ago, and has been bashing out harder rock ever since. A couple of well-received discs later, their power rock lifts a little from hardcore and a little from metal to make a strong blend.

NEXT SHOW: March 21st! Record Release party for Tear Us Apart....

The Rock: Jade Monkey (9 pm)
Jade Monkey will begin the night by channelling Living Colour... lead vocalist Luis doesn't look like Vernon Reid, but there's something that will remind you of him nonetheless... The rest of the band's high energy and psychedelic guitars will win you over. And of course, look for the monkey...

The Rock: Strangeway (10 pm)
Pittsburgh power rockers Strangeway join the evening in advance of their first release. Former member of Seventh House Walter fronts the group, and as their full length debut is prepared in secret labs somewhere under the city, they've come to demonstrate what it's all about.

The Rock: Bio Ninja Circus (11 pm)
These time travelers from the 31st century specialize in rock music from ancient times like ours. They have a unique brand of electronically tinged jamming and rock riffs. Confused? You'd better watch more late night television. The madness starts at 11 pm. Look for "31st Century Circus" to explain it all in song.
